SGCMH Welcomes First Baby of 2024

Ste. Genevieve, MO – Congratulations, it’s a girl! Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital (SGCMH) is pleased to announce its first baby born for the New Year.

Baby girl, Hallie Lynn was delivered on January 3, at 5:11 am by Hannah Kertz, MD, OB/GYN, and weighed 8 pounds and 11 ounces and, measured at 20.5 inches long. This is the first baby for parents, Taylor Chilton and Christian Moulton from Farmington, MO. They were both beyond thrilled about their new bundle of joy being the first baby of the new year at the hospital.

Mom, Taylor Chilton commented about her entire experience.

“Being a first time mom, the process went well and the excitement continued after learning we won the New Year Baby promotion,” said Chilton. “We’re overjoyed with all the love and special care.”

Dad, Christian Moulton mentioned how they look forward to going home and adjusting to being new parents. The couple was very grateful for all the gifts and sends a special thanks to the hospital and local businesses for their support.
