SGCMH Cardiac Care Services

Our Cardiopulmonary Services treat patients suffering from heart and pulmonary diseases and conditions. According to the Center for Disease Control, heart disease is the leading cause of death in the US. Each year1.5 million heart attacks occur, and nearly 80 million Americans suffer from heart conditions, and the number of cardiac patients continues to rise.

We offer a variety of outpatient diagnostic testing to treat a number of conditions to provide the highest quality of care for our patients. Our staff cardiologist, Matthew S. Bosner, MD, FACC, FACP, Director of Cardiology at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital (SGCMH), has earned the recognition of Distinguished Master Laureate of the American Board of Cardiology. Morgan Ritter, FNP-C works alongside Dr. Bosner, providing patient education and assisting with additional needs.

Outpatient Cardiac Stress Testing

A Cardiac Stress Test is useful in diagnosing heart disease, which is a narrowing within the arteries of the heart caused by plaque. It is important for your heart muscle to receive blood flow and oxygen through these arteries. Stress tests can help your doctor determine how well your heart manages exercise or “stress.”
